When Interscope signed 17-year-old Chicago wunderkid Chief Keef earlier this year, surely they anticipated plenty of non-music-related controversy to accompany his ig’nant tunes. This isn’t demonstrated better than the release of his long-awaited “Love Sosa” video, which arrives at a time when he’s facing jail time for supposedly violating his probation (all thanks to Pitchfork). Lord knows what kind of legal mess will be hovering round the kid when his debut album, Finally Rich, hits shelves on November 27.
