Travi$ Scott doesn’t have a deep catalog, but what he lacks in product, he makes up for in hype. Since garnering the attention of T.I. and Kanye West — eventually falling into the G.O.O.D. Music fold — last year, the 20-year-old Houston native has emerged as one of hip-hop’s most intriguing new faces.
He was set to officially announce himself in the game with the release of his debut EP, Owl Pharaoh, today, but sample clearance issues have pushed it back once again. Instead, Scott offers up just one of its many guest-heavy cuts, “Pussy” — a chilling Mike WiLL Made It-produced banger which features MMG‘s Gunplay, GBE‘s Fredo Santana and Cool Kid Chuck Inglish.
No new release date for Owl Pharaoh, but with Kanye West, Bon Iver and Toro Y Moi also expected to feature, the anticipation only grows.
