Vince Staples debuts his free mixtape Stolen Youth, which premiered earlier, courtesy of The FADER. The free album is composed of ten tracks, produced under Mac Miller’s production moniker Larry Fisherman. The artist’s story telling skills are made apparent from the very first track. You could also draw several parallels between Mac Miller‘s Watching Movies With the Sound Off LP, which hatched earlier this week and Stolen Youth. Boasting guest features from Ab-Soul and Schoolboy Q, among others, Vince showcases his artistic depth quite effortlessly. Tracks like “Guns & Roses” and “Back Sellin’ Crack,” are powerful songs with a strong social commentary.. don’t sleep.
