Kanye Avatar Quest 3030

The world has yet to know that it needed a Japanese role-playing game starring Kanye West. Discover Kanye Quest 3030, a game with a virtual Kanye West battling other celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Lil B clones. The video game was released despite the lack of authorization or affiliation with Yeezie. The video game is no Halo but the fact that it exists and that someone out there put together a JRPG with Tupac’s clone and Lil B brings out the essence of the term “dope”. Created by Phenix, “Kanye Quest 3030” is described as “a hip-hop-themed science-fiction 2D role playing game starring Kanye West” that’s set in the year 3030. The best part of the video game is the music: an acoustic version of Kanye’s “Power” which works ideally for a vintage-looking game. You probably thought that the interactive music video for “Black Skinhead” was at good as it gets for computer generated images of Kanye, little did you know. You can download the video game: here

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
