Koncept

Koncept recently dropped the visuals for “Not For Nothing,” a track from his Live On project. The EP was entirely produced by Numonics. The visuals show Koncept skating through the streets of Brooklyn before coming home to some pretty bad news. It’s sharp, simple and tightly put together.

I recorded this EP when I was getting ready to head to LA to record my next full length album at Red Bull Studios. I had a lot of things change in my life, and in my career, and I was ready for those next steps. I was at the point where I knew exactly what I wanted, where I wanted to go, and I wasn’t gonna let anything stop me from getting there. Live On. I dedicate the project to my father, Michael Whitehead. R.I.P. – Koncept

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
