RiFF RaFF has dropped a lot of news about his debut album in the past week. First of all, check out his sexy album cover (above) which highlights his love for beautiful woman and high-fashion. His debut album, reportedly titled Neon Icon, is set to drop on January 28th, 2014, according to The Icon’s twitter:
In a recent interview, the Texan-based artist explained that:
This is gonna be my best work so that’s why it’s taking so long. We wanna make sure that all the songs are the best. It’s not a mixtape. It’s not going to be like my normal stuff that I just put out. [First single] ‘Dolce & Gabbana’ as far as I’m concerned that ain’t going to be on the album. It ain’t good enough for my album. - RiFF RaFF
The artist also spoke about the collaborations that will be featured on his album:
[I] got Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, A$AP Rocky, YG, Snoop [Dogg], you know I got these big names on [Neon Icon]. You know when you’re working with somebody [Diplo] like that, I’d rather work with a big producer who works with big artists—Future, Drake. It’s going to be a monumental album.- RiFF RaFF
Our world is crumbling…
Today, Azealia Banks took twitter and Instagram to share exclusive information about her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste.
Drake took twitter to put an end to the speculations by posting the official tracklist for Nothing Was The Same on his OVO Sound website..
Greg Grease – “Forward”
If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
