As if “Piss Test” wasn’t trippy (with Juicy J on there, no other adjective quite cuts it) enough, A-Trak’s flagrant drug anthem gets a whole lot messier. Danny Brown’s gone AWOL (probably getting head from a toothless crackhead), but The Fool’s Gold chief has called in an eclectic and exciting group of sorts in Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus for the juiced-up remix. It’ll appear on Fool’s Gold’s end-of-year compilation, Loosies, which drops December 18—assuming you haven’t OD’d on a cocktail of snort-able drugs by then.

As a fan of both The Combat Jack Show (Shouts to PNC) and A-Trak, this show was a particularly good listen. I always find that the most successful people are the most humble which is evident in the way A-Trak carries himself. This episdoe was chock-full of good radio as Mr. Ossé took a phoner from Just Blaze (a/k/a Cheat Code) who was busy working with Lucacris on his new album, Ludaversal. However, A-Trak alone was enough to carry the show, who pretty much divulged his biography to date, revealing some interesting fun facts from his career as a battle DJ, how he met Kanye, turning down Jay-Z, the inception of Fool’s Gold and what’s next on his itinerary. Hit the jump to peep the footage of a 15 year old A-Trak, killin’ shit on a pair of 1200’s at the 1998 DMC Summit, recorded live in Italy.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
