Frank Ocean‘s channel ORANGE charmer, “Pink Matter,” just got sweeter–but even better, it marks the official on-wax reunion of one of hip-hop’s finest duos, OutKast. The rumoured remix has been realized, and it hears Big Boi jump in before his old rhyming partner, Andre 3000, to grace the humping groove with an equally-as-slick verse. This re-appropriated version was premiered on Elliott Wilson‘s Keep It Thoro radio show, but thankfully the tags of his screeching laugh have been safely removed (sorry, YN!)
Big Boi kicks off 2013 in the right fashion by debuting the video for his banging Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors anthem, “In The A,” featuring T.I. and Ludacris.
Big boi’s shooting 100% from the field with these Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors releases. As if the A$AP Rocky and Phantogram-helped “Lines” and “In The A” featuring T.I. and Ludacris haven’t had us panting for some new new from OutKast’s pimp half in recent weeks, the promising “She Hates Me” collaboration with Kid Cudi has us slobbering all over our keyboards. Cudder isn’t heard rapping here, but he does harmonize the track with a hell of a hook. Vicious Lies… drops December 11.
T.I. kinda reunited OutKast (sort of) yesterday. Not only dishing the dexterities with Andre 3000 on his own new single, “Sorry,” the Grand Hustle head put his Kang of the South crown to the test against Ludacris and Big Boi on the latter’s certified new ATLien anthem, “In the A.” Given the emphasis of melody we’ve heard thus far from Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, this sludgy, bass-pounding number is sure to tick the “trunk rattler” box just nice. Patton’s LP arrives December 11.

Curren$y – “Mary”
Directed by: CJ Wallis
He may be a self-confessed stoner, but Curren$y is far from lazy. When he’s not in the studio pumping out umpteen projects a year, Spitta is busy on the road. In the new alternative video to “Mary,” off his New Jet City mixtape, the Jet Life chief compiles live footage from three of his most recent shows in just under three minutes.
