Uh oh. While Rocko‘s promised remixes have dried up, the Black Hippy boys give his monster “U.O.E.N.O.” single a brand new flavor. Jay Rock went the fuck in.

Despite not getting the nod last year, Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock blessed the main stage at Rock The Bells this time ’round, and gave a HiiiPoWeR-ed performance of their “Black Lip Bastard” Black Hippy remix. Enjoy the footage after the jump.

Ab-Soul

One of the standout posse cuts from one of Hip-Hop’s standout groups has finally been made into a video. The outro to Ab-Soul’s critically acclaimed Control System LP has all of the Black Hippy squad present and accounted for as Kendrick Lamar, Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock all respectively step up to lay bars that would make the staunchest Hip-Hop critic crack a smile. The dark vibe of the video fits the song perfectly, so if you haven’t seen it yet, now’s the time to get familiar with the TDE crew.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
