No matter how good your shave might be going at your local barber shop, some things take precedence.

Bodega Bamz and A$AP Ferg clearly don’t take their religious references lightly.

Okay, this is probably the funniest video you’ll see all year. Remy Banks, Bodega Bamz, Greg Wilcockson, Luke Monaghan, we applaud you.

While beef was on the menu last week, this week’s prominent news theme was a little more positive. Simply put, there’s a crap load of albums to get excited about. That said, let’s lend an eye and an ear to some of our favorite hidden gems from Skyzoo, Dizzy Wright, BJ The Chicago Kid, Dyme-A-Duzin and Bodega Bamz, after the jump.

Queens… Revisited (our 20th favorite mixtape of 2012) was all well and good, but followers of Children of the Night have been overdue some new music for a minute. So allow arguably the trio’s most promising individual talent, Remy Banks, to bless us with a banger. “GLDCHN” is a frantic, festering number, bolstered by Milo‘s booming bassline and the aptly braggadocious bars of Remy and his Big Apple brethren Bodega BAMZ. Just in case you need a reminder that World’s Fair and Tan Boys aren’t about to run shit in New York, press play below.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
