Chuck Inglish is back with none other than Sir Michael Rocks for “Swervin.” Will we see a Cool Kids reunion sometime soon?

After much speculation and thirst, Kanye West not only announced the title and release date of his eagerly awaited sixth album, but unveiled two new singles: “New Slaves” and “Black Skinhead.”

Turning our attention of the lower echelons of the rap world, we pick our favorite slept-on releases from the past week. Thanks to Chuck Inglish, Gunplay, Julian Malone, Elijah Blake and Devine Camara.

And just as the sun is beating down and making my pasty white skin look marginally healthy, Chuck Inglish comes through with a perfect summer record. “Drops” is the first single from his upcoming solo freEP Droptops, which warms us up for his Convertibles album.

Chuck Inglish and Travi$ Scott make a pretty formidable duo (they’re also conveniently both Been Trill reps). After disclosing how “that pussy changed my life” on Scott’s heavily-guested new single earlier this week, the pair trade bars (and production credits) on this new remix to Chuck’s “Back Up.” The synthy waviness of the original is kept in tact, only the G.O.O.D. Music half lends some of those typically melodic and majestic bars of his to add some replay value to the record. You’ll find “Back Up” on Sir Inglish’s upcoming solo album, Convertibles, due out later this year.

Stream the single below, and watch Chuck preview another new song entitled “Money Clip” after the jump.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
