no new friends

Is a repeat of 2011 on the cards? DJ Khaled rounds up his “I’m On One” troops, Drake, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne (in the exact same order, funnily enough), for the potential smash of the summer, “No New Friends.” Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib on the production.

DJ Khaled’s latest album Kiss The Ring will be in stores tomorrow, and to gear up for it, Khaled drops this visual from one of the final songs on the LP. “Suicidal Thoughts” features Movado, and in the same spirit of the “I Wish You Would” video for Kanye West, the end flips into a Movado song that has a more traditional dance feel to it. I’m not sure if the content in the songs blend that well, but that could just be me. Check the visual after the jump.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
