a-trak

As if “Piss Test” wasn’t trippy (with Juicy J on there, no other adjective quite cuts it) enough, A-Trak’s flagrant drug anthem gets a whole lot messier. Danny Brown’s gone AWOL (probably getting head from a toothless crackhead), but The Fool’s Gold chief has called in an eclectic and exciting group of sorts in Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus for the juiced-up remix. It’ll appear on Fool’s Gold’s end-of-year compilation, Loosies, which drops December 18—assuming you haven’t OD’d on a cocktail of snort-able drugs by then.

IllBill

Ill Bill and El-P are two MCs who are synonymous with outspoken, politically-brash music, so it’s only fitting that their collaboration be called “Severed Heads of State.”

Serving as the prequel to the ridiculously awesome “The Full Retard” video, El-P debuts the visuals for another Cancer 4 Cure cut, “Stay Down.”

eXquire

A little over a fortnight ago we heard eccentric Brooklyn MC Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire’s “Telephuck,” but now we’re graced with his new track, one of the early samples of his Power & Passion EP (due out November 6 via Universal), in full flesh–and boy is it even beefier. In polished, studio version, El-P’s filthy production can be appreciated properly, while it might even fool you into thinking MFN’s surprise guest, Gucci Mane, can actually rap. “This one should be played at high volume… preferably in a residential area.”

mr mfn exquire

Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire has a new EP, Power & Passion, so prepare to hear plenty of music from the Mishka-draped Brooklynite. MFN was on the bill for Converse’s Rubber Tracks showcases in his hometown recently, and to make the performance that little bit more special, debuted a new track live. You can stream and/or download “Telephuck” below. Let’s hope we hear that El-P production in its full glory soon.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
