Rich Flyer and Erick Arc Elliott produced a beat that balances chaos and order for the Beast Coast emcees to preach their message of “Do Better-isms.”

Regardless of whether or not their music is actually the shit (it’s an acquired taste), Flatbush Zombies sure know how to brand themselves — their latest visual offering is a perfect example of that.

kilo kish

The girl who stole our hearts in 2012 is likely to keep a hold of them for the next 12 months at least. 22-year-old beauty, Kilo Kish, is currently prepping a new multimedia project she calls k+. We’re not entirely sure how to decipher that in her explanation (after the jump), but we do know that with a lineup including Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, A$AP Ferg, SBTRKT and Vince Staples, we’re looking forward to it. The wonderfully minimalistic “Creepwave” (featuring Flatbush Zombies) hardly helps.

Flatbush Zombies isn’t the first name that comes to mind when you think of Christmas (Larry Lovestein, aka Mac Miller, might be), but the terrifying trio bless us with new music this Holiday season anyway. “MRAZ” is the title of this new joint, and finds all three members–Meechy Darko, Juice and Erick Arc Elliott, who takes credit for the production–unleash a horde of brutish bars on a rambunctious, yet nonetheless chilling, beat.

As if “Piss Test” wasn’t trippy (with Juicy J on there, no other adjective quite cuts it) enough, A-Trak’s flagrant drug anthem gets a whole lot messier. Danny Brown’s gone AWOL (probably getting head from a toothless crackhead), but The Fool’s Gold chief has called in an eclectic and exciting group of sorts in Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus for the juiced-up remix. It’ll appear on Fool’s Gold’s end-of-year compilation, Loosies, which drops December 18—assuming you haven’t OD’d on a cocktail of snort-able drugs by then.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
