With more appearances from Raekwon and N.O.R.E., this is shaping up to be a must-have for NY cats. Album releases April 16.

As if we haven’t had nine years to do so, Papoose warms us up for the eventual release of his debut studio album, The Nacirema Dream with this new joint. New York’s finest, Jadakiss and Jim Jones, joins the Bed-Stuy rhymer on the StreetRunner-produced “6AM,” which gives us instant flashbacks of that good ol’ mid-00s East Coast hip-hop. If you’re a ’90s baby like myself, those were the days. Also featuring Mobb Deep, Erykah Badu and DJ Premier, TND hits shelves tomorrow.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
