Rapsody‘s latest track “Jedi Code” doesn’t deserve to be passed up. The female emcee, as well as Phonte & Jay Electronica, drop some crazy bars over this 9th Wonder produced jam.

Sure, Phonte’s Charity Starts at Home album dropped all the way back September of ’11, but he has every reason to keep the visual material coming – it was an incredible record. After giving “The Good Fight” and “The Life of Kings” cuts their respective footage, Tigallo places his 9th Wonder-produced, Median-featuring (NC stand up!) track, “Eternally”, in front of Kenneth Price’s lens.

I’m a bi-polar Phonte fan. For me Foreign Exchange is like listening to paint dry but songs like this I’ll tell you he’s one of the best artists out here. This track still gets a lot of play and if you haven’t make sure you pick up his album.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
