Riff Raff has tuned Doe Boy’s track “What You Mean” into a crazy party song. We wonder how many girls are going to twerk to this track. Read more after the jump…

This new track from Marco Polo’s upcoming Newport Authority 2 is bittersweet.

Maybe they’ll let Ricky make a cameo in the video… nahhh. Clean version for now.

Philly’s DJ Sat-One of the mighty Skratch Makaniks Crew (Excel, Adam•Bomb, Jay-SKi, Sat-One, Kwestion, JeyOne, Aktive, Elizier, Spinbad and A.Vee) is no spring chicken when it comes to Hip-Hop. Sat has history in the game that runs pretty deep – at one point, he apprenticed under the legendary DJ Jazzy Jeff and was even an A&R at Jeff’s renown ‘Touch Of Jazz’ studios. I’ve been a fan of dude since his production on the classic “Any Champion” (feat. Pacewon & DJ Revolution) B/W “Fuk Dat Shit” (feat. Young Zee) 12-inch that dropped back in ’99. I think I just decided at this moment for this 12″ to be next week’s Rewind Wednesdays feature, cause that’s how I roll. Real talk – that maxi-single’s probably one of my favorite indie 12″ inches ever, but I’ll save my stan’esque flattery for next week. As for Sat’s remix of “It Will Rain,” I stumbled across this last night while trolling through Facebook and it popped up in my status update. I did a damn near triple take when I saw this was a Sat-One Remix, cause honestly I don’t think haven’t seen dude’s name tossed around the blogosphere, perhaps ever. Anyways, I don’t think Bruno Mars has ever seen the light of day ’round these parts, so if I Sat-One remix is what it takes for Mars to get some real estate on here, than so be it. From where I stand, Sat caught a body on this remix.. but we’ll let you be the judge, jury and possible executioner where you can stream both versions and vote on which version gets the nod, by using the widget after the jump.

Hit-Boy seems to be working his niche of performer on the mic rather than raw lyrics, which isn’t a bad thing at all.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
