skyzoo

Although usually a humble cat, Skyzoo indulges in some good old fashioned flexing (heck, he’s earned it) in his new “Range Rover Rhythm” video, the latest visual release from his still in-rotation 2012 album, A Dream Deferred.

p-money

A platinum-selling, award-winning producer, New Zealand-born P-Money (not to be confused with London Grime MC P Money) has bragging rights in his native land, but now is looking to break ground in the States. And what better way to start than by snagging one of New York’s most gifted lyricists, Skyzoo, and pair him with Mobb Deep icon, Havoc? The two MCs duly do his floaty, scratch-riddled instrumental justice. Catch this on P-Money’s Gratitude LP, coming soon via Duck Down Music/Dirty Records/Dawn Raid LLC.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
