Beyonce‘s “Bow Down / I Been On” just got a whole lot tougher. After speculation circulated last week, Queen Bey does indeed deliver a H-Town all-star remix to her trunk-rattling new record, with help from just a few Lone Star State legends: Bun B, Z-Ro, Scarface, Willie D, Slim Thug and Lil Keke. Bow down, bitches.

Geographically, Mississippi and Texas are separated by Louisiana and Arkansas, but the two Southern states come together on “Now and Then,” the latest release from DJ Wally Spark’s SPKSMEN: Vol. 1 mixtape. It’s a collaboration between grain-grippers Big K.R.I.T. and Slim Thug, who mesh well over the traditionally Southern, bass-warping beat. SPKSMEN: Vol. 1 releases online December 10.

The Game’s got us feeling like it’s 2005 all over again with all this on-point music. For the sixth sermon in his Sunday Service series, the Compton MC aligns himself with Kanye West (who doesn’t rap, but does lend a melodious intro hook as well as a heartily soulful beat, with a little help from Cool & Dre) and some of Texas’ finest, Trae Tha Truth, Z-Ro, Paul Wall & Slim Thug, for “Rollin’.” A cool piece of trivia: this track was initially recorded for Game’s ’05 debut, The Documentary, according to Fake Shore Drive. And per the man himself, it was also intended for his upcoming Jesus Piece LP (out Dec. 11), but sample issues renders it a freebie for our collections. We’ll take it.

Where do I begin on this one…oh yah, Harry Fraud is straight killin’ shit. The NY producer’s latest composition “Cassette Deck,” which boasts some pretty impressive features from Rozay, Bun B and Slim Thug, lands itself on DJ Scream’s forthcoming album Love Ling The Hustle, which is slated for a November 20th release date.

Trae Tha Truth cruised onto digital screens over the weekend with some crisp and clean visuals to accompany his Lone Star State-celebrating anthem, “I’m From Texas”, which features Z-Ro, Kirko Bangz, Bun B, Slim Thug and Paul Wall. Press play after the jump.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
