Jadakiss kicks off his campaign as hip-hop’s Top 5, Dead or Alive with the first single from his upcoming album, “Big Boy Dialogue,” co-starring The-Dream. This is nice.

The-Dream calls on Jay-Z for the brand new single off his forthcoming IV Play album, “High Art.” Word on the interstreet is that Terius is working on Hov’s new album, too. Let’s hope it sounds better than this.

I’m not going to say the video’s dope, because that would be a really…really bad pun, but this visual from The Dream and Pusha T solidifies the song for being clever with it’s parallel meaning and whatnot. This single seems to be the front-runner for the R&B jam of the summer, and Pusha’s verse compliments it well.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
