Today Noisey premiere The Purist and Danny Brown‘s “Jealousy” video, which looks like a PlayStation programmer in the 90′s took a shit load of acid before work, and now the wild aftermath has been unearthed.

Cassidy and Meek Mill‘s war of words may have petered out, but Joey Bada$$ and Lil B filled in for the latest episode of Lame Hip-Hop Beefs That Escalate Quickly. Yup, that was the story that captured our fickle attention this week. So while we all await to see how this whole situation unfolds in the week ahead, here’s some of the best music from the past seven days from Skyzoo, The Underachievers, Big Daddy Kane, Fizzyology and The Purist to keep you occupied.. hit the jump.

UK producer The Purist left his mark across the pond earlier this year with the Double Feature EP, a perfectly executed, blaxploitation-inspired project featuring Roc Marciano and Action Bronson. Now he returns with another of the Big Apple’s most regarded lyricists, Maffew Ragazino, for “Fish$cale”–a soulful, rhythmic number which boasts that same retro timestamp. What’s more, the track is yours to download (for free!) below.

Greg Grease – “Forward”

If you’ve managed to get this far during the week, you probably deserve a break. And what good timing to introduce Greg Grease‘s latest video for “Forward”, a stripped down, less-is-more banger that doesn’t need to be overdramatic to get it’s point across. Directed by Adam Dunn as a part of his #LABB (Lights and a Backdrop) series, the visuals are as minimalistic as it gets, allowing the Grease, his DJ and his turntable to play centre stage. Check it out and be sure to pick up Greg Grease’s Black King Cole EP if you don’t already own it.
